Starting with the hiring of new graduates in FY2017, we will introduce a “Year-Round Recruitment of Potential Talent” program, which enables employees to join the Company in either April or October.

Robust business model with rich future potential regardless of stagnant economic conditions

Settlement systems are a necessary form of infrastructure for companies for conducting purchase activities just like water and electricity are necessary forms of infrastructure for households. Moreover, our business model is a robust one with rich future potential as it is grounded in both the e-commerce market and credit card market that continue to enjoy growth. In fact, we have hardly been affected by the recent economic downturn, and both revenues and profits currently continue to grow. It turns out that trends such as consumers safeguarding their lifestyles, cutting down on consumption, and going out less actually encourage Internet shopping and credit card use. Furthermore, in addition to private companies, use has also continued to grow among the national government and various local governments in areas such as utility charges including electricity and gas, and public charges including taxes.

Corporate culture of constantly leaving work decisions up to outstanding human resources regardless of age, gender, or nationality

Thanks to the promotion of diversity management, a wide variety of human resources are active at the Company, with no discrimination based on age, gender, or nationality. For example, we have an executive that became a senior managing director while in their 30s and an exceptional employee that became the president of a consolidated subsidiary at the young age of 27. Our policy is to further foster this corporate culture going forward and promote talented employees including even newly graduated hires to section manager and department manager positions within several years.
