Thanks to the promotion of diversity management, a wide variety of human resources are active at the Company, with no discrimination based on age, gender, or nationality. For example, we have an executive that became a senior managing director while in their 30s and an exceptional employee that became the president of a consolidated subsidiary at the young age of 27. There are also many female employees serving in management positions, as we offer workplaces that facilitate the active participation of women. Our policy is to further foster this corporate culture going forward and promote talented employees including even newly graduated hires to section manager and department manager positions within several years. In addition, the Company focuses on employee education and welcomes employees that are actively committed to their own development in the training system. Regardless of whether an employee is a newly graduated hire or general employee, employees can also participate in training for department managers or section managers if they desire. We have adopted personnel systems with a fully pioneering approach in order to create a workplace environment that is accepting of employees with various values through a variety of forms of employment and that enables all employees to perform to the best of their ability. Targets are set based depending on the role of each employee, and employees are fairly evaluated and awarded based on their achievements (level of attainment) and processes (actions) when working towards these targets. In this manner we have introduced a virtuous cycle-based system that provides opportunities for growth and taking on new challenges through this process.
